Добрый день.
Столкнулся с очень неприятной вешью, а именно есть такой код:

        psi.UserName = TextBox1.Text

        psi.UseShellExecute = False
        psi.LoadUserProfile = False
        psi.WorkingDirectory = "c:\"
        psi.RedirectStandardOutput = True
        Dim process1 As New Process
        process1 = Process.Start(psi)
        TextBox6.Text = process1.StandardOutput.ReadToEnd()
        process1.WaitForExit()

Этот код отлично работает на Windows2003 server, а вот на WindowsXP, пока не уберу строчку psi.RedirectStandardOutput = True, отказывается и всё. Выдаёт ошибку "Неверный дескриптор" во время выполнения строки process1 = Process.Start(psi).
