• Solid JEE background with hands-on experience
• Knowledge of the following JEE parts: EJB, JMS, JTA, JPA, JAX-WS, JNDI, clustering
• Experience with SOA-related standards: WSDL, XSD, SOAP, WS-Security, WS-Addressing
• Hands-on experience designing/developing SOAP web-services
• Messaging: EMS or MQ or other
• SQL, Oracle RDBMS
• Oracle Weblogic Application Server
• System Approach to Problem Solving
• Requirement Management
• Quality Attribute Achievement
• Strong knowledge and experience applying GoF, EAA, EAI patterns
• General knowledge of SOA patterns
• Experience modeling software architecture (Sparx Enterprise Architect preferred)
• Database architecture: design and modeling of database structures
• Strong UML knowledge backed up by experience
• Familiar with BPMN
• Knowledge of main types of documents in SDLC
• Experience creating architectural/design documentation
• Experience estimating complex systems, knowledge of estimation techniques
• Knowledge of main SDLC methodologies
• Upper-intermediate English, ability to communicate with English-speaking customer both in writing and verbally
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under high workload

• TOGAF understanding
• Experience with Activiti BPM Engine

Responsibilities:
• Working in a solution design group of analysts and architects together with customer
• Independent architecture/design work governed by lead project architect and customer
• Working to achieve desired system quality attributes (performance, scalability, etc.)
• Production of HL design documents based on business/functional requirements
• Presenting design documents and solutions to development team
• Working closely with development team to resolve technical questions
• Investigation of production incidents when out of SL2/3 competency
• Performing showcases of new functionality for the customer
• Code review
