Senior QA Engineer sought by one of the world's leading providers of Forex, precious metals and CFDs online trading services. We serve retail and institutional investors all over the world from more than 50 offices in 20+ countries. Our technical office in Russia is located near ВДНХ metro station, Moscow.

You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans to ensure the quality of our applications, for configuring and supporting test environments as well as for expanding our test automation function. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly technical firm which is going through a period of rapid growth.

Responsibilities:
• Analyse requirements, methods and business logic
• Set up and configure test environments
• Develop and execute test cases
• Test both in-house software and interfaces with external systems
• Document test results
• Work with the QA Manager, Developers and Support staff to design and create functional, regression, stress, load and performance tests
• Data validation and performance testing of databases (RDBMS and binary)
• Log defects and validate fixes
• Test automation

Skills and Competencies:

You will be a highly experienced QA engineer with a strong technical background and at least 4 years' experience in Quality Assurance. You will be able to demonstrate your experience in:
• Testing windows-based system services and control applications
• Testing real-time mission critical environments
• Stress, load and performance testing
• Creating automated test scripts
• Creating test environments for various Windows systems
• SQL (advanced level)
• Working with bug tracking and version control tools
• Writing technical documentation
• Windows batch scripting

You should also have:
• A university degree (Computer Science, Maths, Natural Sciences or Engineering)
• Good command of spoken technical English
• Advanced knowledge of Windows 2003 and 2008 servers, 32- and 64-bit
and at least one of the following:
• Python, Perl, bash or other scripting language
• Java
• C#
