Development of Qik mobile application on Android phones (JDK/NDK, UI, video/audio recording,
network integration, system devices control)
Integration with Qik network protocol stack
Candidate Profile
Pre-requisite Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
3+ years of Unix-related C/C++ software development
Passion for developing on Android phones and tuning to the best usability & portability,
Android development — OS-specific API, UI components, application model, optimization
technique,
Audio/Video processing, codecs is a plus
Java development experience is a plus.
Experience with JSR 135 (MMAPI), JSR-75; JSR-234 is a plus,
Experience with network protocols: TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, RTSP,
Knowledge of Scalable UI concepts is a plus.
