Job Responsibilities
-- Accomplish end-to-end testing of an entire product
-- Test early technical prototypes, working closely with development team
-- Design and develop automated tests, write test cases, configure testing environments
Technical Skills Required
-- Understanding of the processes of software development and testing
-- Strong Linux Administration skills
-- Experience with QA tools: bug tracking systems (Bugzilla), test case tracking tools and automation tools
-- Experience with distributed client/server systems in a multi-tiered architecture and ability to diagnose/debug problems
Desirable (but not mandatory) Technical Skills
-- Experience in automated testing of GUI applications
-- Experience in automated testing tools (TestComplete, SilkTest, Rational Robot, QTP)
-- Experience in networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, X Protocol, RDP, and VNC)
-- Experience in Virtualization tools (VMware, Xen, Parallels)
-- Experience in deploying, running and testing applications in Cloud Computing environments (Amazon EC2, Google App Engine, VMware vCloud, etc)
-- Good technical English (reading, writing)
