We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer-Java/J2EE Design & Development able to develop critical Java-based enterprise applications for the Telco industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in design and development of J2EE/JEE applications and experience in highly available, highly transactional systems.

• +3 years Java development experience
• Strong team player with good English written and verbal communication skills
• Object Oriented Analysis and Design using Java
• Experience with Java server side programming
• Prior experience defining and working within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web services development environment. Experience with creating RESTful web services is a strong plus
• Familiar with JSON, Javascript, Ajax
• JUnit or other Unit Testing framework. Experience working using TDD (Test Driven Development) desirable
• Knowledge of one or more open source software products – JMeter, Maven, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, IBATIS, Hibernate, AXIS2, ANT
• Experience with one of the leading J2EE app. Servers (Tomcat/Apache, JBoss)
• Experience working with Linux as Operating System
• Developing complex applications in a variety of technologies.

• Experience with Java server side programming in a high volume large system / application environment including the availability, scalability, clustering, and performance design patterns.
• Understanding of the application development and deployment life cycle and methodologies
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum) methodology
• Experience with developing positive and negative test suites for servers
• Experience in continuous Integration with Jenkins
• Familiar with Spring framework
• Experience with iOS or Android application development desirable
• Knowledge of PHP or other server side technologies desirable
• Knowledge in mobile sector (content, formats, tools) desirable
• Familiarity with HTML5/JS desirable
• Experience in online advertising and marketing
• Mobile/digital industry experience and knowledge of mobile platform technology
• Technical degree or equivalent required
