Duties And Responsibilities

• Being responsible for architecture and technical design of a standalone .NET GUI trading application and underlying GUI framework
• Deliver reduced functionality of a standalone .NET solution on light-weight technologies (Java Script / Flash)
• Being a key driver of all technical discussions and decisions: overall GUI system architecture, technology choice, applied design patterns, coding guidelines, testing strategies?
• Being a technology export for the development team, ensure high quality of the developed code?
• Building strong relationship and communication with other teams involved into product delivery: other development teams, QA teams, business analysis and project managers
• Responsible for all parts of the solution architecture including non-functional: supportability, scalability, performance, etc.
• Defining the high-level application architecture including integration with other application, usage of shared solutions and components.
• Actively promoting re-use of components and build out of effective and flexible UI framework

Experience / Requirements (Required)

• At least three year in user interface development industry focusing on .NET technology stack
• Strong hands-on experience developing large-scale enterprise user interfaces, ability to lead by example
• Experience in interoperability between Java and .NET is a plus
• Hands-on experience with light-weight GUI technologies (Java Script / Flash)
• Experience supporting a .NET GUI application in incoherent runtime environments is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, ability to resolve technology roadblocks through discussion & agreement
• Excellent spoken and written English is a must
