Responsibilities:



· Pick up users’ and clients’ requests from the phone calls and global incidents tracking system and act to resolve them by finding solutions, agreeing them with users/vendor and actually performing program code and DB scripts amendments for on-line banking "RBS BS-Client" system

· Translating business requirements into technical solutions by partnering with the business; acting as partner closely with Operate on application testing;

· Development and support for local application — on-line banking "RBS BS-Client" system

· Taking initiative to develop accurate supporting documentation;

· Developing and testing software applications using disciplined software development processes;

· Consistently delivers high-quality code and design components according to schedule, spec and requirements.

· Providing User Developed Tools support and development – using VBA (used to support Traders, Middle Office and Back office processing).

· Applying internal IT control policies on support and development

· All work must adhere to the TS Technology processes and guidelines

•The role presupposes about 50% time applications development and 50% time- support
•Logging errors and analysis
•Creation of Functional Specifications and coordination with users
•Creation of Technical Requirements and coordination with programmers
•Control in terms of implementation (from programmer side)
•Setting up of the system (libraries, static data etc.)
•Writing description of procedures (system related)
•Providing training for users
•Conversion data analysis and preparation
•Testing of external applications (which retrieve data from the basic system) and provide training to users
•Analysis of interface requirements and preparation of technical description
•Experience in programming and programming languages (visual basic a must)
•Creation of test scenarios
•Testing of customised system and macros
•Creation of User Guides
•Creation of Business Diagrams
•Creation of Business Specifications and coordination with users
•Ability to search for optimal way to implement the business process in the system.


Qualifications:



•Knowledge of BSS product
•Higher education
•Good spoken English: ability to communicate in English is a must
•Minimum 3 years relevant working experience/technical/application development background within a financial services/brokerage company
•Relational databases knowledge with the emphasis on SQL Server, Oracle
•Knowledge in one of programming language – Java, C#, C++
•Experience in PL/SQL
•Writing of VBA macros for MOffice applications (Excel worksheets, MAccess DBs)
· Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.

•Knowledge of bank business processes (GL, domestic payments, SWIFT payments, CBR reporting, FX)
•Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications
•Ability to collect requirements for business users, translate into technical/functional specification, development and final implementation
•Ability to learn the business and IT strategy
•Good interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate at all levels in the firm
