Large International Bank is looking for a Senior C++ developer.

Role Description:
Successful candidate will work in a very strong development team located solely in Moscow and his main focus will be on C++ front end and server side development. The candidate should be an expert in C++ and IT effectively using his/her skills to create high class software.

Experience/Background:
At least 2+ years experience in C++
At least 1+ years hand on experience in Unix
At least 1+ successfully delivered commercial project
At least 1+ years of maintenance and support of commercial project
Personal Characteristics:
Should have a strong interest in technology, and have the relevant background and experience to build technical solutions
Team player
Strong analytical and technical background with good problem solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with clients and vendors and within multicultural team environment
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

Skills Required:
C++
Debugging: gdb, truss, pstack, ..
Scripting languages: bash, TCL, perl, …
Unix
OOP
SQL basics and a concept of a relational database basics
Version control systems
Reverse engineering, ability to work with others code
Documentation of changes
Estimation of changes
Planning and status updates
Spoken English language

Solaris
Good SQL and relational databases
Motif
FIX protocol
Experience of working in teams of 10 or more developers with quality standards in place
Basic understanding of equity trading
Knowledge of trading systems
Experience with high performance messaging environments including queues, topics, clients, servers, persistence

Responsibilities:
Working on development requests from the business
Planning own work
Documenting the changes
Reviewing of others tasks
Present status updates
Assisting Gems product management team to resolve any issues which requires development attention
